TO SUM UP ALL THE CONTENTS, WE DID THIS VIDEO,
(we had some technical problems so the video is divided into 3 parts)

ORIENTEERING
It is a sport that requires navigational skills using a map and a compass to navigate from point to point in a place, and moving at a high speed.

-MATERIAL NEEDED:

  1. The clothes you have to wear, depend on the weather, but always comfortable.
  2. Resistant footwear (trainers).
  3. Equipment: a compass, a map, a plastic bag, a hat and suncream, a whistle, a watch, first aid kit and water.
  • In orienteering you have to make your own decisions  and rely on yourself.
  • The objective is to locate checkpoints on features along the way.

We did some tests with two different maps from our school; it was great!!

FLOORBALL

Floorball is an indoor game, similar to ice hockey, but it is not as violent as the latter.

NUTRITION
Nutrition is the science that interprets the interaction of nutrients and other substances in relation to maintenance, growth, reproduction, health and disease of an organism.

  • You have to take into account the nutrients you eat and the amount, because they are very important for our organism.
There are three differnet groups of nutrients: inorganic nutrients, vitamins and organic nutrients.

  1. INORGANIC
  • Water
  • Minerals
     2.  VITAMINS
     3.  ORGANIC
  • Carbohydrates
  • Fats/ Lipids
  • Proteins
HAVING A BALANCE DIET
You have to take into account these percentages of nutrients during your diet.
  • LIPIDS: 30%-35%
  • CARBOHYDRATES: 55%-65%
  • PROTEINS: 15%
The amount of nutrients an athlete needs, depend on the type of sport and the amount of work done.
